PreForm’s automatic algorithms set up your print’s layout, orientation, and supports, so anyone on your team can print successfully without specialized training. Layers thicknesses of 100, 50 and 25 microns are supported. We recommend to print Liqcreate Clear Impact on the Clear V3 settings and Strong-X, Hazard Glow, Deep Blue and Stone Coal black on “Grey V3” settings. FORMLABS PREFORM MANUAL UPDATE
Locate and run the Form Wash/Cure Updater tool in the PreForm installation folder to check for firmware updates and to update the firmware. The Formlabs Form 2 resin 3D-printer is a high-end SLA printer, in combination with Liqcreate resin a perfect solution for the prosumer and professional market. Connect the Form Cure with a USB cable to a computer running the latest version of PreForm. PreForm is also integrated with other dental major players such as Exocad, Medit, ZirkonZahn, and more.
Recently, we integrated with 3Shape’s new CAM platform Produce to facilitate and minimize clicks passing design files to PreForm. The Formlabs Form 2 and Form 1+ resin 3D-printers are thoroughly tested by the Liqcreate team and are compatible with a couple Liqcreate resins. PreForm PreForm is our free software that uses advanced, proprietary calculations to generate supports and optimize print settings for each printed part.
